How To Make Bulgur Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bulgur wheat
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  2. Add the chopped onions and cook until softened and translucent.

  3. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add bulgur wheat and water. Stir, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.

  5. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and bulgur is cooked through.

  6. Fluff pilaf with a fork and serve hot.
