  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.

  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature.

  5. Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
