  • 8 anchovy fillets, minced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • Assorted vegetables (such as carrots, celery, fennel, and bell peppers), for dipping
  • Bread, for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil and butter over low heat until the butter melts.

  2. Add the minced anchovies and garlic, stirring constantly, until the garlic becomes fragrant.

  3. Continue to cook over low heat for another 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Serve the Bagna Cauda in a fondue pot or a small bowl with a platter of assorted vegetables and bread for dipping.
