  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast the dried chilies for a few minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.

  2. In a blender, combine the toasted chilies, garlic, onion, tomatoes, vegetable oil, salt, vinegar, and sugar. Blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool before serving.
