  • 2 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cover potatoes with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.

  2. Drain potatoes and return to the pot. Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper.

  3. Mash until smooth and creamy.

  4. Serve hot with your favorite main dish.
