How To Make Sunflower Seed and Chocolate Chip Cookies

A delicious blend of crunchy sunflower seeds and sweet chocolate chips in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of softened butter
  • 1/2 cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.

  2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl until it’s light and fluffy.

  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter mixture and mix until the dough is formed.

  6. Fold in the sunflower seeds and chocolate chips.

  7. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  9. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes before removing them from the baking sheet.
