  • 4 cups gluten-free bread cubes
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. Stir in the dried thyme, dried sage, salt, and black pepper.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes and the cooked vegetable mixture. Mix well.

  5. Gradually pour the chicken or vegetable broth over the bread mixture, stirring until well combined.

  6. Transfer the stuffing mixture to the greased baking dish. Cover with foil.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to crisp up the top.

  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
