Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.

  2. Add beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.

  4. Thread beef cubes onto skewers, leaving a small space between each cube.

  5. Grill skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until beef is cooked to desired doneness.

  6. Brush additional marinade on skewers during the last few minutes of grilling.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
