It’s always the season for merry making and nothing gets merrier than a full stomach. These Christmas recipes will do the trick for happy smiles and bellies. Nobody goes on diet and no tummy goes hungry during Christmas!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mince meat filling
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup icing sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mince meat filling, crushed graham crackers, chopped walnuts, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  2. Roll the mixture into small truffle-sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.

  3. Freeze the truffles for 10 minutes.

  4. Dip each truffle into the melted dark chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off, and return them to the baking sheet.

  5. Place the truffles in the refrigerator to set for about 30 minutes.

  6. Once set, dust the truffles with icing sugar before serving.
