  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup ice-cold water
  • 4 bratwurst sausage casings

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, ground beef, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, dried rosemary, nutmeg, and minced garlic.

  2. Add ice-cold water to the meat mixture.

  3. Mix the meat mixture and water together until the mixture becomes sticky.

  4. Stuff the meat mixture mixture into bratwurst sausage casings.

  5. Grill or pan fry the sausages until fully cooked.
