How To Make Pork & Bulgur-Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup bulgur wheat
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut off the tops of the bell peppers, remove the seeds and membranes, and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.

Stir in the bulgur wheat, cumin, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Stir in the tomato sauce and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the bulgur is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

Stuff the mixture evenly into the prepared bell peppers. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.

Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is heated through.

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
