How To Make Morel Mushroom and Brie Crostini Recipe
A delicious and elegant appetizer featuring sautéed morel mushrooms and melted brie cheese on crispy crostini.

Ingredients
- 8 slices of baguette
- 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 cup fresh morel mushrooms, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut baguette into 1/2 inch slices and brush with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until crisp.

Meanwhile, heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add shallot and sauté until softened. Add chopped mushrooms and sauté until tender. Season with salt and pepper.

Once baguette slices are crisp, top each with a slice of brie cheese and a spoonful of sautéed mushrooms. Return to oven and cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.

Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve.
