How To Make Morel Mushroom and Bacon Pizza

A savory pizza with sautéed morel mushrooms, crispy bacon, and melted cheese on a homemade crust.

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup sliced morel mushrooms
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface.

  3. Place dough on a greased pizza pan or baking sheet.

  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add sliced mushrooms. Sauté until tender.

  5. Spread mushrooms and bacon over pizza crust.

  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top.

  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
