Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, asparagus, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss until the vegetables are evenly coated.

  3. Spread the vegetables in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  4. Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
