How To Make Beet and Arugula Pizza

This pizza is topped with vibrant roasted beets and peppery arugula for a unique flavor combo.

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pizza crust
  • 3 small beets, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup arugula
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Toss sliced beets in olive oil and garlic. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes until tender.

  3. Spread pizza sauce on the pre-made crust.

  4. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

  5. Top with roasted beets.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until crust is crispy and cheese is bubbly.

  7. Top with fresh arugula and season with salt and pepper to taste.
