- 2 medium turnips, peeled and diced
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup milk or cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

In a large pot, heat some oil and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
