How To Make Slow Cooker Venison Roast Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 venison roast (2-3 pounds)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the venison roast on all sides until browned.

Transfer the roast to the slow cooker.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet. Stir well to combine.

Pour the mixture over the venison roast in the slow cooker.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4 hours, or until the venison is tender and cooked to your liking.

Once cooked, remove the roast from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
