Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork roast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Season the pork roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the pork roast on all sides until browned.

  3. Transfer the pork roast to the slow cooker.

  4. Add the chicken broth, sliced onion, and minced garlic to the slow cooker.

  5. Cook on low heat for 8 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily falls apart.

  6. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  7. Serve the sliced pork roast with the onions and garlic from the slow cooker.
