How To Make Slow Cooker Chicken Tagine
Hot stews and pot roasts are just some of the deletcable meals you get out of a slow cooker. It takes a bit of patience but it’s worth every meat-melting bite. You’ll enjoy the cooking as well as the eating with these slow cooker recipes.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup pitted green olives
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Cooked couscous, for serving
Instructions

Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker. Add the onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, ginger, cinnamon, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken.

Pour in the chicken broth and diced tomatoes. Stir to combine.

Add the carrots, red bell pepper, and green olives to the slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low heat for 4 hours or on high heat for 2 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.

Serve the chicken tagine over cooked couscous. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
