Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp finely diced red onion
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained and chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toasted baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Remove any skin and bones from the salmon fillets. Cut the salmon into small dice and place in a mixing bowl.

  2. Add the diced red onion, capers, fresh dill, Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the salmon.

  3. Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

  5. Serve the salmon tartare chilled, spooned onto toasted baguette slices.
