Ingredients

  • 4 hake fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the hake fillets with salt and pepper.

  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, paprika, and dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Place the hake fillets on top of the vegetable mixture in the skillet. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. Serve the hake fillets with the stewed peppers on top.
