- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices American cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 pickle slices
- ketchup and mustard for serving
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Stir in the salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for another 2 minutes, until well combined.

Toast the hamburger buns under the broiler or on a grill pan until lightly browned.

Divide the ground beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

Cook the patties on a grill or in a heated skillet over medium-high heat for about 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
