How To Make BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwiches

Serve up this sweet and tangy chicken sandwiches at your next grill out! It’s loaded with coleslaw, tasty BBQ sauce over rich Hawaiian bread buns.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8chicken thighs,bone in, skin on
  • 2cupsBBQ sauce
  • 6Hawaiian Bread Buns
  • 2tbspbutter,melted, optional
  • 2cupsCole Slaw
  • salt and pepper,to taste

Instructions

  1. Put the salt and pepper in the bottom of the slow cooker.

  2. Put the chicken thighs in, skin side up

  3. Season with more salt and pepper.

  4. Cook on Low for 7 hours.

  5. Remove the skin and bones, then gently pull the chicken apart with a fork.

  6. Mix the BBQ Sauce in the chicken.

  7. Brush melted butter on the inside of the buns, then place it face down on a griddle or in a 375 degree oven for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.

  8. Top the bottom of the bun with ½ cup of the BBQ chicken mixture, then ⅓ a cup of cole slaw.

  9. Serve, and enjoy!
