How To Make Warm Salmon Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 8 cups of mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup of cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.

  2. In a large bowl, toss the salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and dill together.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, and olive oil to make the dressing.

  4. Grill or bake the salmon fillets for about 4-5 minutes per side, until cooked through.

  5. Remove the salmon from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces.

  6. Divide the salad mixture onto four plates. Top each plate with a portion of the flaked salmon.

  7. Drizzle the dressing over each salad and serve immediately.
