How To Make Spiced Turkey Patties with Fruity Quinoa Salad

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cooked quinoa, dried cranberries, chopped pecans, chopped parsley, chopped red onion, ground cumin, ground paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and browned on the outside.

While the patties are cooking, prepare the fruity quinoa salad. In a separate bowl, combine cooked quinoa, diced apple, diced pear, diced cucumber, diced red bell pepper, chopped fresh mint, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.

Serve the turkey patties hot with a side of the fruity quinoa salad.
