Ingredients
For Caprese Pasta Salad:
- 1lbdry pasta
- 2cupscherry tomatoes,or grape tomatoes
- 8ozfresh mozzarella,diced
- ⅓cupfresh basil leaves,julienned or shredded
- ⅓cupextra virgin olive oil
For Balsamic Vinaigrette:
- 3tbspbalsamic vinegar
- 1tbsphoney
- ¼tspsea salt
- ¼tspblack pepper,freshly-cracked
- pinchItalian seasoning,store-bought or homemade
Instructions
Caprese Pasta Salad:

Cook the pasta in a large stockpot of generously-salted water al dente according to package directions.

Drain pasta and rinse under cold water for about 20 to 30 seconds until no longer hot.
Balsamic Vinaigrette:

Whisk the balsamic vinegar, honey, sea salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.

In a large serving bowl, toss pasta with the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, oil and balsamic vinaigrette until incorporated.
