How To Make Slow-roast belly of pork

- 2.2 lb (1 kg) belly of pork
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

Score the skin of the pork belly with a sharp knife, making diagonal cuts.

Rub the olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper all over the pork belly.

Place the pork belly on a wire rack set in a roasting pan.

Roast the pork belly in the preheated oven for 4 hours, until the meat is tender and the skin is crispy.

Remove the pork belly from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
