How To Make Flatbread Mummy Pizza Recipe

This simple flatbread pizza recipe is a fun way to prepare a Halloween snack. It’s topped with cheese and pepperoni but is completely customizable too.

Ingredients

For Pumpkin Quesadilla:

  • 6Foldit® Artisan Flatbread
  • 4ozmozzarella cheese,or monterrey jack, thinly sliced
  • 4ozcheddar cheese,thinly sliced

For Mummy Pizza:

  • 3Flatout Light Original
  • ½cuppizza sauce
  • ¼cupparmesan cheese,grated
  • 6pepperoni,more if desired
  • 3black olives,cut in half
  • 6string cheese,pulled into thin strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Pumpkin Quesadilla:

  1. Using a sharp paring knife, cut a pumpkin face into one side of each flatbread. Reserve the larger pieces to create stems (if desired).

  2. Place a layer of Monterey jack or mozzarella on the opposite side of the flatbread (the one without the face cut into it). Then layer with cheddar cheese.

  3. Fold the flatbread so that the cheddar is showing through the pumpkin face. Place in the oven and bake for 3 to 5 minutes.

  4. Remove and gently press on the face so that the cheese oozes through the cutouts.

Mummy Pizza:

  1. Microwave pepperoni on a microwave-safe plate lined with paper towels for 15 seconds or bake for 5 minutes. Dab grease off.

  2. Spread the sauce over the flatbreads, leaving a small border. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

  3. Add pepperoni, place two in the enter towards the top. Add olives on top. Lay strips of string cheese over top.

  4. Place in the oven and bake for 3 to 5 minutes.
