Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups fresh rocket leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up into crumbles.

  3. Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. Add cooked linguine and rocket leaves to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve hot, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
