Ingredients
- 8 ounces of penne pasta
- 2 cups of cherry tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions.

In the meantime, spread the cherry tomatoes on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.

Roast the tomatoes in the oven for about 15 minutes or until they burst and release their juices.

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.

Add the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until it melts and thickens the sauce.

Add the cooked pasta and roasted cherry tomatoes to the sauce and mix well.

Stir in the chopped fresh basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
