How To Make Crawfish Fettuccine

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound crawfish tails, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until translucent.

  3. Add the crawfish tails to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until heated through.

  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and heavy cream. Simmer for 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.

  5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve the Crawfish Fettuccine hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
