How To Make Air Fryer Okra “Fries”

Ingredients

  • 1 lb okra, trimmed and sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a bowl, toss the sliced okra with olive oil until evenly coated.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Dip each okra strip into the bread crumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

  5. Place the coated okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the okra is crispy and golden brown.

  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot.
