How To Make Fennel Seed and Olive Focaccia
A delicious and flavorful Italian bread that is perfect as an appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1/2 cup sliced olives
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and fennel seeds.

Slowly add in the olive oil and warm water, mixing until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. Allow the dough to rise for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Punch the dough down and transfer to a greased baking sheet.

Use your fingers to press the dough out into a rectangle shape.

Top the dough with sliced olives, pressing down gently.

Bake the focaccia for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Allow the focaccia to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
