How To Make Vegetarian Black Bean Soup Recipe
A hearty and comforting soup featuring black beans, veggies, and spices.

Ingredients
- 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, shredded cheese, cilantro
Instructions

In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until softened.

Add in the chopped bell pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the black beans and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the vegetables are tender and flavors have melded.

Using an immersion blender or transfer soup to a blender in batches, blend until smooth.
