How To Make Caprese Pasta Salad

A refreshing and colorful pasta salad with the classic flavors of Caprese.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fusilli pasta
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.

  2. In a large bowl, combine pasta, cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and chopped basil.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Pour dressing over the pasta mixture and toss to combine.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
