- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups of low-fat milk
- 1 cup of low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
- ½ cup of grated Gruyere cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with cooking spray.

In a saucepan, combine the minced garlic, milk, and broth. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Layer half of the potato slices in the greased baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour half of the milk mixture over the potatoes, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Repeat with the remaining potato slices and milk mixture.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes.

Remove the foil and sprinkle the grated Gruyere cheese evenly over the potatoes.
