How To Make Tear-and-Share Feta Flatbreads

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, dill, or oregano)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add the yogurt and olive oil to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.

  4. Lightly flour a clean surface and knead the dough for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a round flatbread.

  6. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and chopped herbs evenly over the flatbreads, pressing them into the dough slightly.

  7. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the flatbreads are golden brown and cooked through.

  9. Allow to cool slightly before tearing and sharing.
