Who says vegetarians don’t get to enjoy savory meals? A taste of these authentic vegetarian recipes will make you change your mind. So, you just might want to go vegetarian after your first bite.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 1 cup of kimchi, chopped
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • Butter for spreading

Instructions

  1. Preheat a sandwich press or a non-stick pan over medium heat.

  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped kimchi, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and mayonnaise.

  3. Butter one side of each bread slice.

  4. Place buttered side down on a plate or cutting board.

  5. Spread the kimchi and cheese mixture evenly on the unbuttered side of 4 bread slices.

  6. Top with the remaining 4 bread slices, buttered side up.

  7. Place the sandwiches in the preheated sandwich press or pan.

  8. Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes on each side.

  9. Remove from the sandwich press or pan and let them cool slightly before serving.
