How To Make Patty Melt Toasties

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 slices rye bread
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- Butter, for spreading
Instructions

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Shape the meat mixture into 4 patties.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.

Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.

Place 4 slices of bread, butter side down, on a griddle or another skillet over medium heat.

Top each slice with a patty and a slice of Swiss cheese.

Place the remaining bread slices, butter side up, on top of the cheese.

Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.

Remove from heat and serve hot.
