How To Make Katsu Sandos

Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork loin chops
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups of panko breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 soft sandwich buns
- Tonkatsu sauce for serving
- Thinly sliced cabbage for garnish
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).

Place the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

Dip each pork chop in flour, then in eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Fry the breaded pork chops for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

Transfer the fried pork chops to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Place the cooked pork chops on a baking sheet and keep warm in the preheated oven.

Lightly toast the sandwich buns in the same skillet.

Assemble the sandwiches by spreading tonkatsu sauce on both halves of the sandwich buns.

Place a fried pork chop on the bottom bun and top with a handful of thinly sliced cabbage.

Close the sandwich with the top bun and serve immediately.
