How To Make Prawn Katsu Burgers
Delicious and crispy prawn katsu served in a burger with fresh toppings.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Japanese mayonnaise
- Tonkatsu sauce
Instructions

Season the prawns with salt and pepper.

Coat the prawns in flour, then dip them in beaten eggs, and finally coat them in panko breadcrumbs.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the prawns until golden brown and crispy.

Slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly.

Spread Japanese mayonnaise and tonkatsu sauce on the buns.

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by sliced tomatoes and the crispy prawn katsu.

Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
