How To Make Easy Baba Ganoush

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggplants
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Pita bread or vegetables, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Cut the eggplants in half lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet.

  3. Roast the eggplants in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the skin is charred and the flesh is soft.

  4. Remove the eggplants from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  5. Scoop out the flesh from the eggplants and place it in a bowl. Discard the skin.

  6. Add the minced garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and cumin to the bowl with the eggplant flesh.

  7. Use a fork or a blender to blend all the ingredients together until smooth.

  8. Transfer the baba ganoush to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley.

  9. Serve with pita bread or vegetables for dipping.
