Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh berries (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.

  2. Stir in rolled oats and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Remove from heat and let cool for a minute.

  4. Stir in yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  5. Serve warm porridge in bowls, and garnish with sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and fresh berries if desired.
