Ingredients

  • 1 cup of butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Slowly add in the flour and salt, mixing until well combined.

  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.

  5. Use a fork to press down on each cookie, creating a crisscross pattern.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.

  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
