  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh sliced strawberries
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a separate mixing bowl, mix the applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract.

  4. Combine the dry and wet ingredients and mix well until smooth.

  5. Pour the batter into four ramekins and bake for 20-25 minutes.

  6. In a separate bowl, mix together the sliced strawberries and honey.

  7. Let the shortcakes cool and then top with the strawberry mixture.
