How To Make Jamaican Ginger Sponge Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup golden syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, ginger, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, golden syrup, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
