How To Make Falafel Burgers
These falafel burgers are a delicious vegetarian option with crispy falafel patties, fresh toppings, and a creamy tahini sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 cup dried chickpeas
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- For serving:
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato slices
- Red onion slices
- Tahini sauce
Instructions

Soak the dried chickpeas in water overnight. Drain and rinse.

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Pulse until well blended, but still slightly chunky.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the flour. Shape into 4 patties.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the falafel patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, until crisp and golden brown.

Toast the burger buns and assemble the burgers with the falafel patties, lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, and tahini sauce.
