How To Make Apple Cider Snickerdoodles
Soft and chewy snickerdoodles infused with the warm spice of apple cider.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup apple cider
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (for rolling)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add in the egg, apple cider, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.

In a small bowl, mix together the remaining granulated sugar and cinnamon for the rolling mixture.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Place the dough balls onto a lined baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between each cookie.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
