How To Make Mahi Mahi Piccata Recipe

Mahi Mahi fillets are cooked in a buttery lemon-wine sauce with capers for a delicious and easy Piccata dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz) Mahi Mahi fillets
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Capers, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of Mahi Mahi fillets with salt and black pepper.

  2. Dredge the fillets in flour and shake off any excess.

  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Add Mahi Mahi fillets to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.

  5. Remove the fillets from skillet and keep warm.

  6. Add white wine, lemon juice, and capers to the same skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly.

  7. Pour the sauce over Mahi Mahi fillets and garnish with parsley.

  8. Serve hot.
