Pan-seared Mahi Mahi topped with a delicious pesto crust that’s crispy and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 4 Mahi Mahi fillets
  • 1/2 cup of basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Season the Mahi Mahi fillets with salt and pepper.

  3. In a small bowl, mix the basil pesto, breadcrumbs, and grated parmesan cheese together to form a crust.

  4. Press the pesto crust onto each Mahi Mahi fillet, covering the top completely.

  5. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

  6. Place the Mahi Mahi fillets crust side up in the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes until the crust is golden brown.

  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the Mahi Mahi is cooked through.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
